Welcome to the official website
for the Thai American Association of Milwaukee. We have recently changed the
look of our website and we are working hard to make it easier to navigate and
more user friendly. The site will continually grow and expand to provide
information about the current happenings and events within our community.

Announcement
You are invited to be in a nursing study about Thai
women who immigrated to the United States. Each woman in the study will be asked
to do one interview that takes about two hours. This interview will help us
learn how women stay healthy, how they get used to a new culture and the changes
they experience, such as health care system use. Information from this study
will help US nurses to understand the needs of Thai women and ways to help them.
To Participate, You Must:
* be a Thai woman who immigrated to the US
* 21 years of age or older * Not have emigrated from Thailand
to another country before immigrating to the US.
Interview information will be kept confidential.

annual picnic at the Root River Parkway,
Picnic Area 3, on
Sunday, 22rd of August,
from Noon to Dusk
You, Your
family, and friends are invited to the Thai-Am
picnic. We will provide soft drinks and grill, and
everyone is welcome to bring a dish to share.
Staff from
the Royal Thai Consulate-General will be at the
Picnic to provide
